PLEASE Help front end shaking 2wd f350

Ok so I don’t know what is going on? So I bought this truck cheap. It’s a 2wd f350 crew cab. 1989 year. Before I even started the front end work. My power steering pump needed to be replaced as well as the high pressure hose. Fast forward to days. Test driving it. Now it’s a 5speed. Going down the road and it feels like a stuck wheel. My steering wheel was shaking so bad. It scares the crap out of me not to mention my fried. Now I repacked wheel bearings and a tied rod o. Drivers side. I know the other one will be repacked today but would that have that much effect. Is there too much caster where it could be rubbing or. I am just out of ideas. I appreciate the help.

Could a brake caliper be sticking?

I don’t think so. It doesn’t feel like brakes. It’s so sudden. You will be driving. And all of a sudden the truck will shake violently and then you have to shift to neutral and slow it down. Then it stops and you can drive until it happens again.

How is it corrected. It’s pretty weird. I towed a boat. Nothing like that happened? It’s seems ever since I messed with the power steering pump. Could it be the steering box? Or would that just bind up?

Usually worn steering parts. I don't know much about 2wds but on a 4wd worn bushings or king pins can cause it amongst other things.

in the case of death wobble, check for loose linkages first. if nothing looks worn, rotate tires and take for a test drive again. same with the shocks. often if it's not obvious, the problem is in the tires and shocks.

THat feels exactly like my truck. What causes this?

Caused by vibration from tires making the truck shake since there is slack in the suspension and steering

The cure is to balance your tires and if that does not cure it, go for the tie rod ends and the kingpin bearings.
