Hey guys and gals...

I just bought my 3rd set of F-250 badges for the sides and tailgate of my pick-up. This is getting old! I need to know if anyone has had them coated, sprayed, protected..etc, so they won't peel/flake. The new ones are still in the bags, waiting to see what y'all think. This would not be a good time for a bow tie joke. (LOL!)

Thank you!

Priscilla

:dunno As far as I know the 7+ year old badges on my F-350 are still original and look good and I don't do anything but was the truck occasionally.

Hey Doc...

I had a 94, 96, 99, 00, and an 02 before this 05 and they NEVER peeled or flaked. I think the badges changed with the 03's when the body style and engine changed. I wish I had the ones you have, I never had a lick of trouble out of mine, either!

Thanks for the reply,

Priscilla

The engine changed in 03, but the body didn't change till 05. The 05-07 badges are infamous for flaking and fading. It's really sad, because i like the chrome look.
