this will be the 2nd time today someone has mentioned a 6 banger... sucks as i have a 97 cummins ram across from my shop. love the v8 smoothness in my truck though.

I'm starting to look around for a 2nd gen dodge with a banger... I really miss the cummins power and fuel mileage. The Nanny goat would net 22 on a regular basis and if I kept my foot out of it on the highway she would get me 24. I loved the fact that I had all that power on tap and still had the mileage - I used to refer to it as my econ car because if I drove it with some sense it would net decent mileage. What can I say I have been converted - I'm a cumapart man...

why dont you go with a real 6cyl and use a 300l6, or better yet, convert one to diesel.
