I thought I would update you what I ended up buying.
First: Thanks for all the replys and that it did not end up being a 'war thread' about oil !!!
I bought a 20 litre canister Mobil Delvac MX 15W40. Got it for ~ 60 Euros wich is about 82 $.
Filled the truck up today and also used the Powerstroke filter (tight fit but it's doable). After checking for leaks I fired it up for the first time since Nov 2013 and the engine was very happy to be running again. 2, 3 turns and fired right up
Now I just have to finish my complete front axle overhaul and then I can finally drive it again
