oil in the intercooler???

hey guys i am new to the diesel thing i just bought a 99 suburban 6.5 td ait has an intercooler and turbo down pipe there are 2 1/8 plugs on the bottom of the IC and one has a touch of oil comming from it should there be anyh oil in the IC at all the truck only has 59K miles ?

welcome to the site.
check out your CDR valve. that is the #1 culprit for oiling up the intake system. Not to mention that part is cheap too compared to a bad turbo seal.

Oil getting into your "intake" via turbo seal, or any other leak, is the #1 cause of "runaway". You "DON'T" want your diesel to "runaway" :bail

Unless you have a big box to sweep it into, afterwards. :rotflmao
