oil in intake

when I took my intake hat off I found oil inside, is there a trick to bench test the turbo for seal leaks. turbo is out for an ATS upgrade and really hate to put it back together and discover it leaks. I would loose about 4 quarts of oil for every 5000 miles but the valve covers leak and I get a little drip off the filter but that could be coming from the covers.

Is the turbo wet inside the cold air side? How many miles are on the turbo? Its really not very costly to just buy a cartrige replacement now that its all apart.

Where would you pick up a new cartridge from and what is the going price.

You'll need to disconnect your CDR and run a road draft tube before you'll know if it is your turbo causing the oil deposit.
