The pump seems like its done its job and now requires replacement. About the only other place that might be leaking in the plate on the passenger side haa broke down or the plunger seal on the drivers side is failing. Not much more parts that move under the pump that can leak. Sorry but do enjoy the fuel system rebuild. Get it timed and run the legs off it.
As for having too many rifles..... Not so...

Drive it! Clean it when it gets swapped. If it gets worse, you know what it is!

I doubt any of the good rebuilders on this site will get butt-hurt over you choosing someone else. So long as you choose a good rebuilder!

Good luck!

Then again, there's the other side of that coin. You could buy that fancy rifle you want so much,:D, and use it to shoot the truck which is giving you so much grief.;Sweet:rotflmao

thats a great video.
im not going to open this pump up.
odds are that its reached its life span,
and a new pump will give me piece of mind.
may as well do the injectors also to maximize the pumps potential.
hell, while im at it, i will go as far as getting my turbo rebuilt, so that this engine is done, and i wont have to spend much more on it.
i will have the cash in the next week or two.
as my woman just said. " you have enough rifles" ... i spit up my iced tea on that comment tho..lol

Tell ya what I'm a gonna do...

You go buy that Lapua, get all that long-range silliness out of your system (wifey is right), then send it to me. In return, I shall send you a bright, shiny, NIB overhauled IP.

Win- Win,

Riiiiiiiight?

When I go to what my wifey calls... "The Dirt Store" where they know me by my first name cause I have bought 34,000 lbs of garden soil from them one ton at a time... I see all kinds of small 1/2 ton chevies and imports way over loaded driving off. Springs bottomed out and rear tires nearly flat on the bottoms butt dragging down the dirt roads leading to the front gates. If I was a loe I sure would be sitting at this cherry patch with a dozen donuts and something to drink. I would fill my quota easy

I see this quite often at the lumber yard I work at. People have no clue.
There's people who come in wanting to carry a 5 ft window in a sedan. There is a lot of people driving these 4dr 5 1/2 -6 ft bed car/ trucks who seem to think they have a real truck and want to haul very long lumber or 3000# of material. Like the guy who thought he'd carry 28 pieces of 5/8"x4'x12' sheetrock and 28 pieces of 1/2"x4'x12' sheetrock in a Dodge 1/2 ton with a 6' bed. SMH. We got the 5/8" on and the truck was about to break so we stopped there.
