Hey guys, on my 93 the column bearings are completely shot. I believe its the lower one too. I searched and found some info on the tilt columns but non on the standard one, what kind of pain in the butt am i looking at here? will I have to pull the column out or anything?

My steering column had the same problem, the previous owner put the column back together wrong and crushed the bearings. I just went to the junkyard and pulled a used column from an automatic and took it apart and rebuilt it as a manual column. Presto, problem solved. You probably have the newer style column, but if you drop it from the inside of the truck and remove the bearings, theres probably a bearing or machine shop that could find you something that would work.
