I discovered something topping off my oil tonight. I couldn't find my funnel so I grabbed an empty vodka bottle from the trash, cut it at an angle tried to shove it in the fill hole. It didn't slide in, but even better, it screwed right in.

Refilling from gallon jugs has always been tuff because of the angle of the fill spout. Holding a funnel while trying to pour from a gallon jug with one hand with out having it glug oil everywhere is a pain. Now it's easy. The funnel screws tight no chance for it to shift or fall out leaving both hands free to pour the new oil. The hardest part is drinking a 2 litter bottle of vodka before changing oil :)

Any large plastic bottle of cheap vodka should work. Like this http://www.irvingwineandspirits.com/images/labels/burnett-s-vodka.gif

As a side note, I'm also running a large psd oil filter for the first time ( thanks to a tip I picked up here ). It was a bit of a life saver too. My walmart doesn't stock idi filters, but there were 3 different choices of 7.3 psd filters on the shelf. It saved me a trip to the other side of town during a snowfall.

real alcohol are sold in glass bottles.
that being said, when I was a poor college student, we'd refilter cheap vodka through "brita" type water filters to clean up the taste. :D
