Nissan SD33 Diesel in a 2WD Jeep Cherokee?

They made a 4cyl version of the SD33 (SD22 I think). I think they were put in a limited number of foreign made mini trucks. The only one I have ever seen was shoe horned into a lawn mower. It would make that thing scream but sizes were very different obviously.

Weight wise, the SD33 was lighter than the IH V8's of the day. They were big heavy engines built more for industrial use than the Light Line of vehicles.
