I just recently (this week) installed a dana 60 under the front of my f250. The only problem is that the 60 has 3.55's and my 250 has 4.10's. I tow large amounts of weight so I really want to stick with 4.10s.

If anybody has a set of 4.10 gears for a dana 60, I really need a set. Id be also willing to trade for my 3.55s if anyone is interested.

I have a set. Got them from another member just a few months ago and then I picked up another 60 thats already 4.10 geared.

I think I paid $50 plus shipping for them.

They are yours for $60 shipped if you want.

That sounds good, Ill pm you my address and we'll go from there. Do you use paypal?

One more question, are the gears stock or are they aftermarket?

While you have the diff out of the 60, it'd be a good time to get new bearing on there as well.

And since the axle shafts are out, might aswell do the ball joints or kingpins, and wheel bearings, and wheel seals........................

Funny how easily it can turn into rebuilding the whole axle........

PM sent.

My plan is to swap my new bearings and good rotors over from the dana 50 on Tuesday. I think that the inner seal on the drivers side is leaking when the hubs are engage and the centers turning. But at the moment it doesnt have the driveshaft attached so Im not worried about it at the moment, just have to keep the hubs disengaged.

How much do the inner bearings run? I dont really plan on using it on the road, only to pull myself out when I get stuck pulling a heavy trailer.
