Decided I'm going to go ahead and order a new pump and new injecters (both reman) I've got 196K on my truck and the guy doing the work says it looks like my pump and return lines are the originals 
So going with new turbo pump and injecters should make it better right from the get go 
and I won't have to be going back in (repairs) for awhile on the fuel system anyway
Now I'm wondering about my IP, it works great, should I try and sell it or just settle for the $100 core? I might list it local and let someone come drive my truck since I'm not getting the turbo in for a couple more weeks... yeah! that's the ticket! Thanks for all the input!
