New IP Fuel Line Nut Torque

I've read that you definately want the lower fuel lines on the IP tight to prevent leaks... so has the recommended torque of 22 Ft/Lbs been enough? I'd hate to have to pull the IP a second time to fix a leak.

Good point! thanks... I have nightmares about this thing squirting diesel from every direction when I get it back together.

When you remove the lines remember the "feel" of the torque force needed to remove them. Then install the lines on the new pump with that feel in mind. Its not perfect but it will work. Make sure the ends and fittings are clean.
