New guy, what does this stuff mean, old tips, common problems

Reading through some of the older posts i have come across some great suff, like the 1 ton wheel cylinder modifications. What other tips and tricks do you guys know about that could be useful? Also i have read a lot about things like dowel pins, a hard to reach fuel line and other common problems that could be prevented by a little maintainece, what are these problems and how do i fix them. Lastly there are a lot of TLAs (three letter achronyms) out there that i don't know, some deffinitions on this lingo would be useful. (AFC WMO/WME other stuff like that) Anyways i am probably repeating a lot of questions. I drive light duty hookers and do some mechanic'n. 94 2500 5spd 140,000
