New facet install

Just finished installing my new facet fuel pump. Does it always run with the key in the run position? I would think it would run until a certain prime and shut off, but it doesn't. Is this normal?

To the best of my knowledge, yes. It always pumps fuel, and any not used will return to the tanks by way of the return lines.

Yeah, it'll run anytime it has power. Unless you run a relay system that will run it for a bit, then shut off if it doesn't see oil pressure.

Yes as already posted. Runs when the ignition switch is on. completely normal too.
