As many of you know I bought a F250 6.9idi and the seller told me I need to recharge the AC it uses R12, what things are needed for me to do this at home?

Does the AC system still have some charge left in it, or is it completely empty? Has it been converted to R134a, or is it still R12?

I recommend that you flush the entire system with non chlorinated brake cleaner and dry air. Replace all the orings.replace the dryer with one that's compatible with r134a,install the adaptor charge ports, install the orange Chrysler orifice tube. Add 10oz of ester oil and 44 oz of r134a after its been pressure tested and vacuumed.
