Need help with fuel leak

That must be a new thing .. The one I bought from him didn't have any. I bought it like a year ago though.

Auto Zone n Advance Auto use the same part number for the Cardone Reman/ Fuel injection Pump Install Kit P/N 2K-203 cost at Autozone is $14.99 and Advance is $15.99

This is very true. Both ends of the injector hard lines have a flair that made as part of the line. Its not pressed on the line like many other flairs found in the industry. The seals that you may have been asking about are found on the fuel supply lines to the fuel filter and injection pump. At the fuel filter head the lift pump supply line and a flair and the bottom end at the lift pump but an olive seal at the top end. Now the filter head to the injection pump supply line has an olive on both ends of it. These olives are found inside the brass line nuts and are usually hard as heck to remove. A dental pick helps or soaking in brake fluid overnite works. Some burn them out too.

I am working on the olives right now, but this morning the truck didn't hesitate starting. It was either the return line or that I removed and the feed line to check on the olives condition and reinstalled. It started fine but something is still leaking. I'm hoping the feed line is leaking while driving but was sealed enough to not let air intrusion while parked.

How am I suppose to install the olives? Just slide them on and push them to the back of the nut? Should it be greased?

I lube them up with Vaseline. I used Hylomar on my turbo oil feed olives.
I had to burn my old ones out.

I installed the line with the new olives. I let it idle for about 25-30 minutes. I could not find a leak. I won't know if it's fixed until after I head to town because I could only see the leak mess after driving it for awhile. I'm actually starting to think it might be leaking at the turbo oil return, and when I head down my driveway it pours forward which makes the mess under the IP. Then, as I come up my driveway it pours over the back of the engine and starter.

I warmed the truck up and let it idle nose down on my driveway " then I pulled it back in and checked for leaks ..nothing on the valley pan. I'm crossing my fingers ans hoping it is just the oil pressure sender. I really don't want to pull the turbo. I'm going to try to seal up the sender tomorrow. It's just impossible to get a tap back there to clean the threads and it's going to be HARD to do this without knocking gunk down in the hole .. but hopefully it will be easier than anticipated.

The adapter from the block to the oil feed line is what was leaking on my Truck. I cleaned the area with brake cleaner and shot it off with compressed air and hoped for the best. So far no leaks! Good luck.

Hard lines are just metal to metal. There is no rubber or gasket used.

With regard to this fuel leak at the IP, try this idea. Get it dry and clean underneath, and then slide a brown paper towel with baby powder on it underneath the pump. The baby powder will streak in the direction the leak is running, so you will know if it is the front of the pump, the back of the pump, or whatever. A pump can leak at the nose cone, advance piston, fuel door, or shaft seal. If it is the nose cone, that is really the only seal I would be comfortable recommending that someone try to replace themselves. If it isn't that one, your better off getting a rebuilt pump. I have olives and all that stuff too, but if your in Oregon the shipping would be faster from Russ.

After two trips to town and running errands there is NO more fuel leak! ! Nothing on the valley pan! ! Now I just need to seal my turbo feed line .. well, the elbow from block to line.
