My push button glow plug modification

Clip the blue wire, and block off remaining wire from controller. Next cut white wire and block off remaining wire on controller. Now wire in the glow plug light switch wire to where the white wire used to be. Also you will be wiring the push button switch to this same terminal. I put this wire through the firewall where the cruise control vacuum line goes through the firewall. Here are the pics of how I did it.
I used the wire diagram from diesel hub.

Put the light wire on the power outlet/glowplug side of the relay. Then you'll know for sure they're working, and if the relay fries closed burning up your glowplugs.
