I hate to do it, but the time has come. Selling the Black *******.
I got this truck 2 years ago, found it in a parked in a warehouse in ohio. it had been there since 85. I got it with 8000 true miles on it. It has been my daily driver up until about a month ago. it currently has 26k. even drove it from ohio to tx twice, it has never failed me outside of a starter about 3 months ago.
its a centurion truck, so it started out as a SRW F250, now its a DRW, with one ton brakes, suspension and rear end. 4.10 gears.
here is the work that was done to get her back on the road when I bought it:
new balanced injectors with viton seals
all new hoses and belts
new lift pump
recharged A/C with r12, still blows cold
all new tires
all new brakes
change ALL fluids
new master cylinder
new brake booster
replaced front and rear main seals on trans (3 speed auto)
new rear fuel tank
two new batteries
new starter
does not smoke
no rust
both pumpers, cab, roof and bed rails are stainless steel or aluminum, so no rust there either
no tears or stains in the upholstery, not even so much as a single crack in the dash
has never towed anything in its life, there is no hitch or ball in the bumper.
there is an electronic trailer brake controller installed by centurion.
bad stuff:
cruise control recent quite working
leaks some oil out of the front main pulley when its running, I loose about 2-3 quarts every 5000 miles
there are small dents and dings here and there, nothing major at all.
It is a pain to fuel up the front tank. the filler hose needs to be corrected, just never got around to it.
I am in Zanesville Ohio....asking $12,000
I know it alot, but you will be hard pressed to find one this original, I have made no mods to it, for once you can own a truck and not spend you weekends cussing the previous owner. if you ever wondered what it was like to ride in one of these trucks when it was new, here is you chance.
if you want more pics, just let me know what you want to see.
