Ok, I'll tell ya you can get a bladder replacement ONLY even though I have no idea if that's true ot not LOL LOL LOL

Seriously, I always wondered what would happen if the bladder was to go BANG & if they are replacable or not.

Ya might want to try to pull it out & get some kind of vulcazing rubber patch kit & give that a shot.

I'd think that the bladder was made of rubber although I've never seen it. If the hole is not a long tear, perhaps you could repair it with a bicycle tire tube repair kit? I did an archive search at TDS and only came up with threads about seat cushion repair. For a cheap fix...get a whoopie cushion! :D LOL

Theres some pics in my webshots showing the bladder in the seat - its not too bad a job to get out but I dont have a clue if availible from Ford. I would think it would be. A boneyard would be a best bet as far as price I'd wager.

The only thing to be careful of is when skinning off the foam from the seat is to be aware its glued to the metal frame & pretty thin around the topmost edges.

Cheers

I have done the conversion but cant take any credit as that would go to Ky Diesel for being the one to bring that lil upgrade to the 94-97 crowd.

I hope this ends the burnt harness probelms to a standstill or at least curbs the problem.
