he's talking about the clamps that hold the injector hardlines together. without these they will vibrate and crack causing them to leak.

Is it some sort of nut that screws down on the injector?

I bet you are correct since he has done everything but replace the hardline to the injector...

Thanks

I was thinking way different...the clamp bundles the hardlines together...got it!

Got a #8 injector hard line on the way. Oddly enough I found the injector line clamps resting on the radiator. Somehow they rode there the whole 2 hour drive "home".

I hope this fixes the problem.

Pics to follow once I get them off the phone.

Also, I got a set of cheap Hummer tire and wheels (36x12.5 R16.5) I could aquire...would they fit on the rear end? I know the front wouldn't be an option but I would love to run something crazy on the back to get the rpm's down a bit

Check out the cone on the end of the injector line that rests in the injector. I had a PO cross thread the line and over tighten it which put a groove in the cone. When it was finally seated properly that misaligned groove allowed it to leak pretty heavily.

Are you suggesting that I may need a new injector also?

Here are a few pics of my rig. Had to pull it home due to the bad injector...
