Link to the glow plug push button mod

I cannot seem to find it on my phone
Can someone post a link or pic or diagram?
I thought I had successfully bypassed my gpc with a push button but it seems to not be working at all.

Got new glow plugs coming from Mel this week. Hopefully get it all wrapped up.

So after reading that my 90 has a different controller. It is given pos voltage via the key switch to the solenoid and the gpc controls negative. I wired my push button to supply negative voltage to the solenoid.

Take the white wire off, tape it, and then put a wire from the new switch to where the white wire used to be on the controller. On the other side of the switch take a wire from there and bolt it to ground. You are correct, + is given to the controller from the keyswitch, grounding the white wire terminal will make it go.

Franklin that's exactly what I did. Worked for a few days now I can hear the solenoid pull in but after holding for 10 second (or slightly less) I do t get and improvement in starting. I'll try the new plugs and see what I get

With the manual button, mine still would start with 3 bad glowplugs. It ran rough, you could hear the couple of cylinders missing when it first started, and it had a lot of smoke. As it ran for a few seconds, you could hear the miss-firing cylinders start to kick in and after about 15-20 seconds they all were hitting and every thing was normal. This was during one of those big snow storms when I really needed the truck and didn't have time to replace the bad glowplugs till I got everything pushed out. With the factory controller it never would have started like that.
