Line lock for 4 wheel ebrake?

would i need two of htese units to have control over both axles?
Im thinking of having it at least on the front , so when i set my rear ebrake I can line lock the front if im winching somebody out and I dont want to sit in the truck holding the brakes. In a snowy situation i dont think having only the rear would sometimes suffice. Plus its harder to winch it onto a flatbed in case of theft .

Do i just stick this inline between my master cyl and axle brake line?

I am not sure how they are installed. I would PM Ron, (Dsl_Dog_Treat) as I know he had one on Goldie at one time. He is the only one that I know for sure has used a line lock. I am sure others have, I just saw the one on Goldie in person.

just read the instructions, yup just goes right in line with the front axle brake line. Just stops flow from returning back to the MC. Will be ordering this for me build.
i like that its stianless steel too

what i want to know though is...what kind of fitting is one supposed to use with this?! i see 1/8" NPT but theyre no 1/8" NPT brake fittings unless it connects to a AN thread...

nvm i am dumb. its just ur regular 3/16" x 1/8" male inverted flare fitting..

If you are in 4x4, 3 wheels will be holding correct? If both back wheels are locked by the e-brake, only 1 will turn in the front if the front diff is open correct? If it the one does start turning, the other front wheel will turn the opposite way.

this mounts inbetween the front resivor of the master cylinder BEFORE proportioning valve..
make sure you get the correct type of fittings, there are a few different flare sizes, along with AN. if its a standard flare, ALWAYS DOUBLE FLARE.
line lock kits usually come with a momentary button, use a toggle switch.
and never use it as an unattended parking brake,
just hitting the switch/button itself will not do.
apply brakes before its activated.

One other thing, with an electric one, it takes power to keep it locked. If you want to park it this way, like you mentioned for theft deterrence, you may want to look at a manual one. They are a cable or other mechanical way to actuate them. You can leave them on "indefinitely" without running the battery down. Now I don't know if either will hold pressure indefinitely, so if you are planning on parking on top of a big hill while you hike in the woods for a week, and are just depending on the line locks, I don't know that I would expect the truck to still be there when you get back.........
