Don't feel too bad; it took me a minute to figure it out myself. I've spent most of my time around 6.9l's, which have the oil fill integrated into the "gear access cover". Actually, while I've been around some 7.3l's, I think this may be the first time I've seen a 7.3l gear access cover removed from the housing.
