Late '80's rear fuel tank?

I noticed one thing in the link Heath posted. There is an 80-84 listing, 85-86, and 87-91. Why would there be 2 different listings for the "slant nose" 80-86 trucks? Did they make some kind of change in the frame in 85?

No clue. That's one of the issues the poly tank guys want to know. If they are really the same tank, not sure why there are 3 part numbers for that block of 10 years.

Frames, as far as I know and from what I have been told are all the same right up to the SD's in '99.

As far as I know that is correct as well. My rear tank is out of a '95 PSD. It bolted right in on the '86. IIRC, when compairing the two side by side, they were identical.
