Nope, you need one that is compatible with the hydro. There are some post here with dimensions and comparison pics... I think I posted one too. You need that part, rebuilds don't come with them.

I do not know, my hydroboost came with the rod, I find it odd your did not since it is the same part number.

it's been awhile, but i think I just cut down and rounded a grade 8 3/8" bolt

I have a hydro boost unit from a 2003 mustang mach 1. Is it enough to use in the trucks, or do I need a truck specific unit? Looks kinda small. Thanks!
