That is a great resource. If anyone has enough understanding of a DB2 pump and enough guts to try this. I'd get some cheap or ruined cores to tear into before ever trying with a good pump. But I probably will tear a core down at some time and see if I can succeed in putting it back together. I know it was done once at a rally but no one felt comfortable running it on their truck and also I remember DieselDummy built his own pump for a 6.2 and had a pretty cool redneck pump test stand.

Its not too tough. Common sense is a big factor, but remember, KEEP IT CLEAN on reassembly.

I appreciate that link also. I tried to start a thread a couple of weeks ago to discuss how the pump works, but either no one knows, or the people that do know won't divulge their knowledge.
