interior issues

As the truck was up on blocks waiting for the rims to get refinished, I noticed mold growing on the center console. I found a rainwater leak somewhere under the front of the center console/dash area that was flowing under the rubber flooring and sputtering up through the openings cut in the flooring and running all over the place.

Long story short: I gutted the interior.

Two items:

1) Any ideas about the leak?

2) Spray liner for the interior?

If it is a seam leak you could seal it with silicone or body seam sealer. You can use rubberized undercoating or the spray in bedliner coating over the floor before putting the pad and carper back in. I have used the rubberized undercoating before and it worked very well. It also cut down on road noise.
