Oops. The Allsion behind that 7.3 idiT just wants to go. I finally fired the B*ch off after 19 months of delay, loss of interest, weather conditions, family matters, etc and it leaked.
Sunny Beach.
Crawl under and looking at the cross over exh pipe and it is pouring out all over the pipe.
Sunny Beach.
Several times.
Get the oil dye kit off of Amazon, pour it in, fire it up and go to looking closer again.
Whu?
Fluid bouncing looks like water.
Not green antifreeze.
Last time I looked it was the same color as the oil on the dip stick.
Brand new clean rebuilt engine clean.
Bounces like water?
Hydroboost set up and brake fluid not dropping.
Power steering not dropping.
Fine.
Drop it in low lock, ramps in front of all 4 tires, get the wife out to guide me up the ramps.
That monster has no problem with the Alliison trans and front Elocker.
Crawled up just over idle speed.
This monster is overkill for my original intention.
The leak?
Diesel return line around the left rear of the engine somewhere.
I still need body mounts, the interior put together, secure wiring harnesses and few things before it gets on the road for it's Allison learn cycle.
I also really need to see if any dye is leaking out from anywhere.
Another reason for another delay.

Diesel leak at the L/R return fitting and the official oil leak at the right V/C under the fuel filter.
Oh joy.
Better than pulling the engine for a rear main.
