Before I installed my PS intercooler I ran a max of about 11 lb of boost after it's about 8, does this sound about right? I'm going to see if I can shorten the wastegate rod any more to get a little more out of it. Thanks

Yup, most notice a drop in total boost. But, the air reaching the intake should be a more dense and cooler charge of air and therefore........more power and less heat.

What's your impression of the intercooler? Did you feel a good increase in power and are the egt's noticeably lower?

you can hook the wastegate actuator into the intake hat instead of the housing where it is. then you will have a cool 11psi to the engine

I haven't worked it to hard yet, I did haul the 11' camper and Jeep on the trailer over to Hollister through some mountains and it never got over 1100deg so I didn't have to get out of it. Not having too get off of the throttle let me better use the existing power and I didn't seem to be down shifting as much.

Next month I'll be hauling the same setup up to the Rubicon, through the mountains and will be able to compare it to previous years, and I'll also be hooking up to the 32' 5th wheel for our yearly trip to Fort Bragg on the coast, I hope I see a big difference then.

Anyone know approximately how much an intercooler will drop the charge air temps and what the "new max" number for thermal efficiency is(before its all wasted as hot air as 13+ is on a non intercooled turbo engine)?
