I am troubleshooting an issue I have dealt for a while My initial brake bite is very good and it slows the car very fast, except, stopping to a complete stop requires significant force on the brake pedal. This issue was same since I bought the truck, except it required significant force to even get it to slow down (dead vacuum pump). I replaced the vacuum pump, and front calipers and pads. That corrected the initial issue, now I am just needing to fix this poor mans ABS :)

Rear pads need re-adjustment?

check your brake booter the thumb trick with a friend make sure it sucks ur thumb in and holds it until you let off and also you might want to adjust your drum brakes usually when these trucks dont like to adjust themselves hahah but those drums should be adjusted try a half a turn on each and test.
