See if you can source a IDIT fan clutch. The turbo-model fan clutch is different. It engages at a much lower temperature.
(I've had it engage during the summer with water temps in the 205F range).

OP- sorry for the thread jacking!

So that would seem to be correct. RA lists the motorcraft clutch for a 91 NA but not for the 93 turbo or NA. But the same Hayden clutch is listed for both as “severe duty”. Interesting.

If you expect 14mpg empty, you must get a truck with a overdrive trans.

I get around 14 hwy with my slightly tall, insulated camper shell, full of stuff, with a C6. Its RWD, but still. (See avatar pic)

I got about 8 city/10 hwy pulling a 27ft travel trailer, plus the camper on the bed.
