That's a really cool project and the welds do look great as mentioned. It would be a shame to tear up a nice dent side body, I hope for the trucks sake, it gets more used than abused. Good luck with your build.

Thanks, the body isnt perfect by any means. I wouldnt destroy a nice 79 stepside body, its solid but not really nice. Im going to get into some body work later in the build just to clean it up a little.

Also my brother smashed up my front clip so ill be replacing it with a 78' front bezel

Got all the rims re centered and started sandblasting them, should look good when they're painted.

Painted the wheels international grey, tried it out on the front axle too, i like it

Chopped the frame tonight and shortened it. Im going back in the morning to finish welding it. I ended up taking 8" out of it

Welded and plated the frame today, got half of it sand blasted too. Also stripped every bracket and all the old lines from the cab back
