ID Tag on the firewall

There is a small, 3"x4" metal plate bolted to the driver's side firewall. It has the following information on it:

0808P L6 HX

2H8 A2 2 DEOP6MVR

W36RCA23009 4 W5 T

2FTJW36K6

That is the exact pattern on the plate. I know some of the numbers in line 3 and all of the numbers in line 4 are my VIN, but what do the other numbers mean? I've searched all through the factory repair manual I bought on EBay and can't find anything about the metal plate. Way back when I worked for GM the metal plate had paint codes, trans codes, and so on. All that's on the door plate now, though.
