i know a man selling a truck it is:
1986
Ford
F250
6.9 IDI
T-19speed manual
got 194 thousand on it
long bed
extended cab

hasnt been driven in 7 years
needs tires all the way around
needs batteries
need diesel fuel
got rust on the under carriage and body
tail gates missing

he told me 1,400 bucks for it

Kellys Blue Book lists a 1990 Ford F250 7.3 IDI ZF5 speed extended cab long bed for 1,195 in fair condition that states needs tires .

Scrap price, which is about 5-600. If you look on craigs list in your area, you will see nicer vehicles that actually run for the same money he is asking

And just to put in perspective. I just bought this 96 F-superduty powerstroke 5 speed xl for 1000 not running. No NO rust. 4 new tires and no body damage

brad i think you have a soft spot for those old trucks to offer that much for it. an 86 sitting for 7 years should be more around the 300-400 range.

My brother got his 86 f250 4x4 T19'ed for $300. Body and interior was in very good shape. $1600+ later its a reliable daily driver. A 7.5 Meyers ( I gave him) and it paid for itself on the first snow.

Edit: oh yeah, 88,000 origional miles.
