HYDRO-CONVERSION QUESTION

One thing not fully covered in the vacuum to hydroboost conversion is the cruise control hook up.

On the vacuum system, the master cylinder has a little plug with three wires coming out of it. I'm assuming this is the brake cruise control disconnect harness.

Well, the hydroboost has no such fitting, but just behind the hydro's reservoir is a socket with two large prongs in it. I'm assuming this is for cruise disconnect, however, have no clue. The hydro came out of the same year model as my existing truck, just a 450. Is there a special plug that goes into that socket or is there a different way to hook up the cruise control disconnect?? Does anyone have the part number for the plug that hooks into the socket?

If it isn't the cruise.... then what the freak is it?!!!

The cruise control switch on mine was a vacuum switch that is actuated off of the brake pedal arm. There was a plastic bracket that hung off of the brake pedal arm that actuated the switch. This plastic bracket does not work on the hydro boost specific brake pedal, but a new bracket could easily be fabbed and put on the hydro pedal. This was on a hydro setup off of a 90 F450, installed on my 84. I used the stock master cylinder.

So on the vacuum master cylinder body, there is a 3 wire plug, what is that plug controlling???

I 'spose I should stick my head under the dash to figger it out.... been lazy lately. Trucks been parked for a week, driving the more efficient Mercedes...still thinking about the truck.
