Hydralic brake booster

Seen some info on owners swapping the vac booster to a hydraulic unit. I gotta replace the PS pump and the entire brake system needs work so I figured the timing is right for a swap. Unfortunately, there are no F450 and up trucks just sitting in the local yards.

Can any of the hydro boosters from mustangs be used? There are lots of those at the yards, and shelling out 300 plus for a new truck unit just doesn't fit my budget.

I dont have anymore for a ford, but I do have a few chevy units. A few of the other members on here have put those in without many modifications. Just do a search and look into it.

get on craigslist. thats were i found my entire setup from a f450. get the whole system as i only paid $100 for everything. if not the chevy ones will work but you'd have to buy the hoses still which will be quite expensive still.
