I was just looking at boxes this weekend gone. $1400 - $1800 depending on the condition.

$1400 with NO lights, NO tailgate and some dents, $1800 for a MINT box, lights but no gate.

I only paid $1500 for the WHOLE TRUCK.....Rust free parts are a gold mine here!

The rate on doors, or any removable body panel has a very wide price range, you can get a great shape door for 25$, and another place, you'll pay 150$.

You just gotta know where to go for those things, around here anyways.

I'm with Brad too. $1000-$1500 for a Straight RustFREE 8' dual tanks. SRW. I need one too... Prefer white if possible, must be Straight and VERY clean.

In order to get the big money, ITS GOTTA BE CLEAN! Otherwise i see them go for around 500-600$ all day long round these parts.

A clean bed is actually harder to find than you think. Most trucks are bought to be used and they almost always have dings, dents and scrapes from being used.

With the economy the way it is lately, nothing is bringing what it used to in the private sector. I remember a time when a chevy SRW dana 60 front would bring a grand quick, now Im seeing them on craigslist for 600$ very frequently.

Its looking iffy on if it would pan out or not to be able to deliver beds...at most it would cover purchase and fuel for the trip. Unless I hauled with the TDI (and that would require me buying a 5x10 ish trailer, as the trailer I would borrow would be to big).....

Fuel is a killer, you'd have to load up a big trailer with a lot of rust free parts and make a "mother load"

My buddies back East look at my rustfree truck and say "if my truck looked that good after 20 years, I'd never buy a new one"....

My guy who does it travels the the south with a 35' aluminum gooseneck and a 3 car wedge trailer. He hauls what ever he can find going south and he has "buyers" hand pick stuff for him to bring back north. He is not getting rich, but making a living
