Otherwise the front and rear main can seep but typically not the biggest issue.
Ok well I seen they make a oil pan gasket for that pan I wonder if it's possible to drop the pan in the truck put the gasket on and bolt it back. But my oil leak seems to be coming from my dipstick housing on the side of the pan.You will have to pull the engine to re rtv the pan. Its less work that pulling the axle. Typically its not an issue just some minor seeping
Well I think it might have to much oil too I'm on a hill and I'm showing maybe a quart to hight it smells like oil no diesel or anything else.Sounds healthy but if the CDR isn't right and you get too much crank pressure the you need to start to worry about seals and blow by increasing.
That is on a level ground I went around the corner and checked it the engine was still warm from coming home from work.I'd park it on level ground and check it just after running.
