1994 7.3 turbo,while driving engine momentarily dies and then picks back up,almost a hard studder,any thoughts?

Air intrusion? 1/4-tank showerhead problem? Lots of possibilities... tell us more.

Im running on 1/2 a tank of fuel in rear tank.

Try hooking a jumper wire from the battery positive to the front terminal of the injection pump and see if it quits dying

I vote for crap in the fuel lines. One of mine had a crazy stutter a few years back...turned out to be clogged fuel line between selector valve and lift pump.

Do what Wes says it does kinda sounds like a ignition also I'd look at fuel filter but I agree w need more info does it happen when you hit bumps o just going along and it cuts out and slowly picks back up

EDIT!
That turned out to be "spongy" fuel lines ... they were collapsing.
Sorry, got my fuel system woes confused.
