Can anyone tell me where this partially chewed off wire should go? Black with 2 yellow stripes. Thank you for any assistance.

It would help for people to know more about your truck. Tell us things like make, model, year, engine, what modifications have been done.

I don't remember where that goes.
I'll be home tomorrow... I'll take a look and let you know, if you don't get an answer before then
If you're in a hurry, AutoZone site has wiring diagrams.

The yellow stripe is all that stands out. It is just about the blower motor, below the vacuum hose.

I got a '94 turbo truck very similar to yours. So while I was under the hood I snapped some pictures, since we probably have the same/similar wiring harness. Can't really tell you what that wire is for, don't have a wiring diagram, but as you see in the pictures, black with 2 yellow tracers goes into the bottom male connector. Only 1 wire there. Female connector end has 2 wires coming out. The black with yellow tracers and a solid purple wire. That purple wire dead ends in the female connector as there is no mating wire in the male connector. That black with yellow tracers and purple, goes into the large harness and goes up over the blower housing in thru the firewall. That's all I can help you with. You need a diagram to figure out its purpose. If you open up the large harness, I would think you should find the other end of that black/yellow tracer wire. Why was it initially cut? That's the mystery you'll need to figure out. Hope this helps some.

All I know about that wire, is it goes down yonder on the fender to a harness on the core support for my 93.

Your description and pictures may prove very helpful. On my truck, the black/yellow stripe wire comes off the make connector you described and photographed. That part of my wire is intact. Looking at your picture (esp pic#2), the other end of the wire disappears into a small wire loom. On my truck, that wire never makes it into a loom because it was chewed off a few inches away from the male connector. This was due to rodent damage to my wiring and vacuum lines, from the truck sitting outside for a length of time.I can’t tell from your picture which way that loom runs or where it ends. Are you able to take another look under your hood, and tell me where that loom goes? Greatly appreciated.

It comes out of the plastic wire loom running under the heater hose.
I was wrong when I wrote that. Now that there’s better lighting available, I see that the wire is running down to the plastic male connector described by Sparks-IDI. A few inches before the connector, is where the chewed off end the wire is located.
