Now, speaking from the other side as a former tire repair tech, tire guys hate those beads. They are a PITA to remove to repair a tire. Then you have to put them back in. The only thing that I've found that's worse is Fix A Flat (tire sealer). I'm not saying that the beads don't work, they're just more work for the guy who has to fix your flats.

Meh, you're getting paid to do it. Lol
At least it isn't fix a flat, or worse(like expanding foam). Lol

I'm glad that I never came across that expanding foam crap! True, I was getting paid for it. It's the extra time it takes when I had 5 or 6 tractor tires spread out across 3 different counties that I also had to fix that day.

Yep. I get what you're saying though. Lol
If someone used plain steel BB'S, a magnet would be great.

Tire beads are great for large off-road tires, as they naturally don’t balance very well.
Aside from that, if you need them on regular tires, you either got really cheap Chinese-made rubbers or your shop doesn’t know how to balance them correctly. If they were that practical & worth it, all tire shops would recommend them but they don’t.
