Help, 6.9 head spec. dilemma!

My intake valve recession is going to come up over the manual spec. Of .054”. I think it will end up at about .057” after head is milled down to 4.795”. This is with new valves. Unfortunately I can’t just replace the intake seats, there aren’t any! The only downside I can think of is slightly reduced compression ratio, and harder starting. The truck started great before this tear-down, even with the old valves that were worn to nothing, and therefore sat much further back in head. Therefore I’m hoping this won’t create any other problems, my only other option is to cut the head a few thousandths under spec. Say to maybe 4.792”?

What say the Oil Burners?
