Hello from new member

I thought I would post a hello to the IDI forum (since it's the only one that contains real trucks). I have lurked for a while and finally got registered through the site admin. Thanks to all for the excellent resource for technical advice and great stories!

Here's a picture of mine; 1994 N/A. Original paint (not bad considering where I live). It is oil sprayed twice a year and has no rust. Paint is showing its age and I will probably paint it in the spring - sticking with blue.

All stock except for a walbro electric lift pump. Homemade front bumper with receiver and grill guard. No winch yet. I replaced the IP and injectors last weekend and bought a Ferret pulse timing adapter to do it. Very satisfied with the results.

Welcome to about the best forum for help with these great trucks and engines. So you replaced the injecters and the injection pump. Sounds fine. We have so many articles on how to do this job here. Now that your here please read the Hall of Shame. That way you wont be victomized by some less than trustworthy ebay sellers and the likes. They lurk here also. Where did you buy the pump and injecters from. Were the injecters new or rebuilt and did you replace the return line kit too...

I bought the injectors from Pensacola - new Delphi's, not rebuilt. the IP I bought through a local classifieds - it came from Diesel Care. For the price I couldn't say no but it is not my long term pump. I want to send my old pump for rework into a Moose junior but I have a backup installed for now. The new pump is working fine but I will invest in the real thing. I am familiar with the return lines, installed viton o-rings. I am now running 5 - 10% bio for lubricity.
I am building a pop tester, and I have the timing equipment so the rest is easy. Oh ya, and the homemade Rotunda 9/16 wrench
