I get better and quicker responce on this forum:
My 97 7.3 PSD which always started good, maybe 2-3 glow plug cycles, has now refused to start when the temp is below 40. If we get a warmer day starts good as before or when driven, then parked and started a few hours later it still starts ok. I know someone will say plug it in, but thats not the point, unless the temp goes down to teens or less, that may be the plug in temp.
As a comparison my 89 idi will start no matter if the temp is in the teens--maybe takes a few more glowplug cycles but it starts.
Thanks to all the good knowledgeable people on this forum
