Yup, it is. Is the noise loudest when its in neutral with the clutch released? If so it is what is known as gear rollover. Basically the gears are rattling back and forth from one extreme to the other of their gear lash with every combusion stroke power-spike as the engine idles. The DMF used to dampen those spikes, and then you converted it to a SMF, so now they get transmitted directly to the input shaft.
I reduced the noise dramatically in mine by overfilling it (2 gallons) with 15W50 Mobile1 oil. The trick to overfilling it that much is to remove the shifter and pour the oil in through the shifter tower. Afterward the noise was WAY less, but still a little louder than I liked - until I increased my idle up to around 750+ RPMs. Now it is quieter than the engine...
