1980 Scout II Terra Turbo Diesel

If no one wants this truck, it's getting sent off for scrap in 10 days. Scout II Diesel

Parked 2 years ago after it started leaking oil at the turbo cooler line. Never got around to fixing.

Just barely a restoration candidate, more likely it's a good parts truck.

Not running, no battery, will need to be towed.

I am interested in engine. What trans? Where is it located? How much for each? I live in WA. but plan to go to Houston late summer by way of CAL. If we can get together on price and can you wait for me to get there?

One way or the other, even with needing TLC that thing sold the second it went up, this is California, a diesel 4x4? SMOG exempt for now, simple to maintain, if I had the money and half a reason I'd already own it...

It's a very good thing I don't have $600 to burn right now  I would love to get my hands on another diesel Scout -Drool and that Terra looks like it's in MUCH better shape than my old Scout II was!!
