My glow plugs stopped cycling completely
Wait to start light will not come on.

Sometimes very infrequently it will come on but never when it's cold.

Anything common to look for?

Well the best place to check is the engine main wire harness plug. Look at the 2 yellow wires that have the lug connecting them as one wire. Thats the feed to the controller. The 2 wires are barely enough to supply power to the controller. When it goes thru the plug the leads get so much smaller. Now add some corrosion and you get heat. so much heat can develope that the plug smokes and burns down your truck. If the plug is melted then you caught it in time. Find an stereo store and buy 2 lugs and some 6 gauge speaker wire. Make your own feed line to the controller and be safe. No real need for a circuit breaker but you can install one if you like. That plug is only there for simple engine removal.

Well thats good to hear it fixed. Glad it was a simple fix too. Ever thought much about converting to ZD9 plugs and the solid state controller..
