I was studying over the fuse-block diagram in my owners-manual and I noticed that there was no mention of any fuse or breaker that protects the wiper-motor circuit.

How is the wiper-motor circuit wired/protected ??

Are there relays that keep the load off of the key-switch ??

I am not having any issues; I'm just curious.

Thanks.

If you look in the area of A-14 and A-15 you will see the Wiper circuit is protected by an internal circuit breaker. If anything shorts upstream of that, it's taking out a fusable link and the ignition!

Thank you.

So???, if I take the black/green ignition-wire and route it instead over to my auxilliary KEY-ON=HOT relay-switched fuse-block, I will have taken that load away from the factory key-switch, right ???

That internal breaker is in the switch itself, right ??

Thanks.
