I am selling the intercooler setup from my 1994 turbo IDI. The system is complete with everything you need and is in perfect working order.
The intercooler is a CX Racing half-height intercooler with a 4" core and is 31"x12". As I said, the intercooler functions flawlessly, but it is not perfect aesthetically. It does have a few bent fins, and a small spot of overspray from the recent paint job.
All of the piping you will need to fit this to a factory 7.3 turbo IDI is there. It is 3" exhaust piping painted black, with all of the rubber elbows, clamps and hardware. There is also a mounting bar that is made of bar stock that will allow you to mount to the core support, that is painted black and will keep you from having to mount to the radiator. I had about 1" between the radiator and the intercooler, and did not have to move my bumper out. Again, all of the piping is in perfect shape, it just has nicks and scratches in it from the removal. It just needs another shot of paint if you'd like it to look brand new again.
The intake hat was made by Russ (Typ4), and includes the elbow, O-rings, the hat that the elbow sits on, the stud that bolts it all down and a fitting for a boost line already installed (You can't see it, it's on the other side of the elbow in the picture).
I ran this setup for less than six months and was thrilled with it. I had my IP nearly maxxed out, and could not pass 1100* unloaded, with average 15 MPG in city, 17 MPG highway with less than 600* as long as I was below 75MPH with the truck in my sig.
I would like $600 for the intercooler setup as is. If you have any questions, need more pictures, or have any concerns at all, feel free to let me know, by replay or PM. I will give you my phone number if you are interested and need more information.
Will not work with your factory airbox! I ran a custom Air intake, which I also have for sale, complete with a rubber adapter for the turbo, clamps and a filter. This intake lowered my EGT's an average of 100* before the intercooler.
I also have a factory airbox, and intake hat, complete with filter and all hardware.
